Cat moves to San Francisco for her first big girl job.

JB moves to Berkeley for grad school.
Oct 2014
Cat and JB accept job offers at Facebook. They get added to a new employee group and introduce themselves. Cat catches JB's eye with her wit and JB catches Cat's with his charm.
Dec 1, 2014
Recognizing her from the employee group, JB stops Cat from entering the wrong shuttle on their first day of work. They sit together on the long bus ride and talk about cheese and travel. They become instant best friends.
June 2015
JB brings Cat to Paris to meet his family. She shocks everyone by putting cheese in her croissant.
March 20, 2015
After weeks of smooth talking, JB asks Cat to be his "girlfriend." Something he still finds strange about American culture.
July 2015
After only 4 months of dating, they decide to move in together, and everyone thinks they're crazy. They have tons of fun building a home together, cooking for their friends, and traveling.
February 2017
Looking for a new adventure together, they move to New York and experience their first real winter.
June 2018
JB plans to propose while on a trip to Brazil, but doesn't find a ring he loves. He decides to wait and enlists Cat's friends to help him find the perfect ring. Cat is blissfully unaware.
Childhood '93-96
Cat and JB start to discover the things that bring them joy. Cat starts playing the cello and JB joins a rollerblade gang.

JB proposes to Cat on a secret beach near São Paulo by pulling out a ring from his "sunga."
Summer 1996
The first time Cat and JB are in the same city, though they don't know it yet. JB was living in New York with his family, Cat was visiting with hers.
